I’m trying to figure out what to do about Habib’s hair. It seems to look crappy whether I fill it in with pen or digitally so for now I’ll leave it unfilled until one my skills in one or the other improve. I’m digging the background gradients though, they make a big difference and I’m looking forward to playing with background shading.

Masturbation jokes are always funny, right? Maybe K should look into some pockets…maybe Habib could buy him some…

Still have a buffer of about 2 pages going, I hope I have the chance to increase that a little so that maybe I can get to work on other projects as well.

Yes this page has been sitting around, inked, since 2009 and is only now being posted. The good news is that there are two more pages already drawn and inked so I have a two page buffer! If I manage a regular, once-a-week update schedule and continue to add to the buffer, well I won’t get too carried away…

My tablet broke so Kill K will be black and white for awhile. The art style is about to change too, subtly, as I’ve actually settled more into the way I want to draw this comic, so look forward to that.

The session actually went down differently than this. K was doing some ridiculous thing with a circus and Hui. Something about him being contracted to the circus and not being able to go on an adventure so Habib gambled on him and won him as a slave. Or something. Actually I don’t think that’s correct either. It’s been too long, maybe another player can correct me. At any rate, Habib is now part of the group. Hopefully things work out. Which they won’t because the group always fucks shit up. But it will be funny, promise.

I hope that everyone out there enjoys Thanksgiving, hopefully with your family if possible and if you get along with them.  I’ll be in Maryland getting together with relatives I don’t see very often, it should be fantastic.  Interestingly there will be four generations there from my grandfather to my cousin’s son, which is pretty cool.  Aside from seeing my aunt, uncle and cousins I’m really excited about the meal we’ll have tomorrow.  Mostly the pumpkin pie.  That’s like crack to me.  Mmmmmm pumpkin pie.

Something I drew tonight while catching up on Fringe.  According to some dude on the food network, the best way to cook a turkey is to fashion a kind of breastplate out of tin foil so that dark and light meat gets cooked properly.  Naturally when I heard this the idea of an armored turkey came to mind so I figured I’d draw a Thanksgiving themed comic for today.  I think Hui and Habib have the right idea.
